Recently I witnessed a distressing Twitter debate. It seems, a lot of you twitterati don’t like turkish delight?! I know, I can’t believe it either! Ever since the White Witch enchanted young Edmund with some of the magical rose scented candy in the land of Narnia I was a girl obsessed. So here it is, I’m begging you, give turkish delight a chance. I bet, if you let it, it can enchant you too 🙂
Need some more persuading? Well how about this, the lovely folk at Hotel Chocolat have given me a stunningly beautiful wooden box filled with my favorite turkish delight to give away to one of you lucky people! Interested? Read on, dear follower.

Stay tuned for what I have planned for this mouth watering box of sweeties in the next few days, it’s going to make the perfect Christmas gift for a rose loving vodka drinker 😉
Nice giveaway! Sorry to distress you but I'm in the anti-Turkish delight camp – I can't stand the stuff! I do however know several people who like it so I if win I'll pass it onto them!
yay (nom nom nom)
I love it! When I was younger I used to love The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe and I am sure I imagined it tasting nicer than it was. I think stuff like the Fry's Turkish delight is too sickly and sticky, but real stuff (eg from Turkey) is amazing- gently flavoured and delicious. 🙂
I am all over the turkish delight! I love the stuff, I still dream about Pet Lamb's Turkish Delight Cupcakes!
Definitely a YES! I can't watch narnia without my mouth watering just a little…
I don't know if I like Turkish Delight… I have never tried it. I did print out a few recipes several years ago thinking it would be fun to make but it seems a little involved. So, I would be delighted (pun intended) to win your giveaway! :)Kindly, Lorraine
I love Hotel Chocolat, it's impossibly for me to walk by it without going in!http://chicgeekery.blogspot.com/
I used to hate Turkish Delight but now I LOVE IT!!!!
I used to hate Turkish Delight but now I LOVE IT!!!!
I love turkish delight – so soft and fragrant, and the icing sugar makes it seem old fashioned somehow. Yum yum.
I love proper Turkish delight, this might sound silily but there is fake pink Turkish delight then there is stuff like this.. Delish!Xxxwww.inordinatelyplush.blogspot.comJennifer.horsburgh@gmail.com
I absolutely love turkish delight! I don't get it often, so I tried making it once.. it didn't work out 🙁 but rose flavored turkish delight is the best ^__^ It's something from my childhood I remember very well, since my dad used to give us some as a present during christmas ^^
I love turkish delight! It's so elegant and tasty!
I always assumed I wouldn't like Turkish Delight but I actually really like it so would love to try these.
There are no words for how much I love Turkish delight! Earlier this year a friend bought me some back from Turkey and I pretty much proposed to him on the spot.
Good Morning…umm…yummy giveaway, thanks! Gosh that has always been a childhood candy favorite of mine….brings back lots of warm memories for me! Cheers, Valerie.
I love it, and it's one sweet that's much easier to make than you would expect! Nom!
I'm undecided. I had some cheap stuff and was turned off. But I'm willing to give it a second shot!
My husband's Aunties (2 maiden aunts) who each lived to be 97 and were born more than a decade before the turn of the century (the 20th) left me a copy of an ancient hand written recipe which I make every year for Christmas. I am not sure it would be Christmas for him otherwise. :)That makes me pro Turkish Delight.
definitely pro!!! 🙂 not as much as my mother though, she loves the stuff!!! 🙂 xxx
Oooooh I love turkish delight, it's rosy subtlety and delicate lemony flavours yummy.I love all things rose!E x
Yes, yes, 1000 times YES!claire@frenchforcupcake.comxo
I had this box last year and I really loved it! Not too keen on the lemon though…
I love Turkish Delight. It's fat free and tastes of roses – what's not to like?
Oh, Hmmm…yes please! Pro Turkish Delight in a way that is shameful for someone who lives far from any reputable supplier! Thanks for the giveaway!
That's the prettiest box of turkish delight I've ever seen! When I was younger I wasn't a fan, but as I get older I can appreciate the subtle flavors and eating turkish delight always makes me feel like a princess. This is such a great giveaway!
I never tried turkish delight before but would love to…so yes?
im definitely pro turkish delight :Dwww.missmathful.blogspot.com
I am SO pro turkish delight & have exactly the same story as you – got obsessed with it as a child who was in love with Narnia & everything in it! It always makes me think of Christmas and sitting in front of the fire at my mum & dad's house. thisisjuliet@gmail.com x
i love turkish delight, ever since i was young and wathed the fry's turkish delight advert i have loved it. i love adding it to brownies, adding it to rocky road chocolate mix, adding it to cookies. the options are truly endless!
Turkish delight is wonderful. I love its fragrance and its evocative exoticism. I love this wooden box too. It really highlights the white of the icing sugar and pale colours nicely. Thanks for a lovely, edible giveaway!
I love turkish delight, it is definitely one of life's little pleasures 🙂 So delicately fragranced, sweet and moreish… yum! It's a big thumbs up from me!!!
Pro! Ever since I was very young I've had a crush on Edmund, so I grew to love Turkish Delight just as much as he did. (You can contact me at rosycheeked.tumblr.com)
Yes I absolutely love it for the very reason you mentioned because the way he unwraps it from a hexagonal wooden box covered in icing sugar surrounded by snow with that hot chocolate in that goblet and you can almost taste evry mouthful he takes I’ve never forgot it I’m obsessed!! In fact there is a little house in our village with a turret on it and we nicknames it Big Micks house isn’t that fabulous Xx
